How Can I Pray?

I don’t know which trip to go on?
Read through the description of each trip and see which you resonate with. The first thing you should do before selecting a trip is pray about your decision. Next, research the country and the area where God is calling you to serve. For more information about a specific trip, please view the details about each trip above. Who can apply for the trip?
Our international mission trips are primarily designed for CityRise members, but we warmly welcome others to join, provided they meet the age and fitness requirements.
What will the weather conditions be like?
Check the location temperature on your phone to get an accurate idea. Your team leader will also supply this information.
What is the trip cost?
Click on the registration link for detailed trip costs, each trip cost is different. All participants are responsible for the flight costs, which are different for each trip. You can search on United for the trip dates to get a quick idea of flight costs. There is a trip ground cost associated with each trip, please click through the trip sign up link for more information that for your trip you are interested in.

Can I book my own fight?
You can book your own flight, as long as it is the same flight the group is on. We request a $500 deposit towards flight fees, which will be refunded before the trip. Please check in with your trip leader if you want to book your own flights.
Do I need a passport?
Yes, you need a passport valid for six months from the date of travel.
What is the trip itinerary?
Trip itineraries change year to year, the team leader will provide this at the trip kick off meeting. Please have a look at the trip description to get a feel of what the trip will entail.
What are the next steps once I have signed up?
Your trip leader will reach out to the team to schedule an initial team kick off meeting at which they will supply a detailed trip itinerary and further information.
What do I need to take on the trip?
Your team lead will cover all this information after signing up.
Where do I apply for my passport (for US citizens)?
What if the process to sign up for an international Mission trip?
Start by praying and ask God which trip is for you. Make sure you pick a trip that works for you, start the application and follow the steps on the form. Your trip leader will reach out to you with more information.
What is the minimum age for participating in a mission trip?
The minimum age depends on the trip. Family trips are open to all, but generally six years old and above is good for family mission trips. For other trips eighteen years old is the general requirement, unless accompanied by a parent.
