A Note from Pastor Roger

Dear Church Family,
Through our missions office over the next few weeks, we will deploy lots of people overseas to lift the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here in Houston, we are close to wrapping up Deep & Wide, and we are just inches away from reopening the education and office spaces at our Bellaire campus. If you attend CityRise Bellaire, please remember that this Sunday, June 30, there will only be worship services at 9:30am and 11:00am, then on July 7, only the 11:00am service; there will be no Community Groups or childcare on either of those mornings. We will begin using our newly renovated building on Sunday, July 14, followed by a church-wide open house on Sunday, August 4 from 4-6pm.

- Dr. Paul Magyar, our Worship Pastor at West U Baptist, is taking the choir to Ireland (my wife and I will be joining them on that adventure),
- Tim Yeager, our Student Ministry Pastor, is taking our high school students to Belize on two separate trips over the next two weeks, and
- Chuck Oak (Missions Pastor), Rynie Badenhorst (Global Outreach Pastor), and Jeff McNear will deploy with a team to Santa Ana, Honduras for a week of medical missions and VBS in the mountains.

These are exciting days to be a part of CityRise! (And I haven’t even mentioned the rollout of our new website . . . more on that soon!)
Stay Expectant,
Pastor Roger
