A Note from Pastor Roger

Dear Church Family,
This past Wednesday morning, I had the chance to describe the impact of what happens when we invite our people to get involved in ministry at CityRise. Our language for that is Discover, Develop, and Deploy. I was able to share this in front of non-profit and business leaders and encourage them about responding to God’s invitation to join Him in what He is already doing.
In doing so, I commented on how I want our church to be like Buc-ee's. Take a look at this short clip:

Don’t forget about Marriage Night coming up next Friday evening, October 4! Register here for an amazing night (registration includes dinner and childcare).
Lastly, this Sunday we begin a new series in our study of Daniel and Revelation called "The Face of Evil." We will be in Revelation 12. Join us on campus or online.
Expectant,
Pastor Roger
Don't forget that you can continue to bless Pastor Chuck Oak and his wife, Karen, with a love offering through the rest of this month, which is almost over! You may do so at this link. Please note that these gifts are not tax-deductible, but by giving them through the church, they can remain anonymous.
